My first crush was on Christopher Reeve as Superman. I was in first grade and I was in love. I also hated Margot Kidder for years.
I remember a editorial cartoon after his death, of Superman holding a newspaper with "Christopher Reeve" and the dates on it. Superman says "But, but, he was my hero!"What an amazing man.
I second the DEATHTRAP love. Hilarious movie. :DAnd I totally crushed on Superman. Wanted to be in that Fortress of Solitude bed in Superman II soooooo badly.
Oh, Deathtrap! Chris got to be DANGEROUS. How often did that happen?
